2.5%Naphthylacetic acid

[ Structure Formula ] :

[Specification] : 10ml/pc

[ Description ] :

Mode of action NAA is absorbed by plant via leaf, stem, root, and then delivered to target positions. The mechanism and physiological activity of NAA is similar to that of Indoleacetic acid (IAA). It can stimulate cell division and tissue differentiation, accelerate ovary expansion, promote blooming, induce monogenetic reproduction to form seedless fruit. It can inhibit cellulase in a certain concentration range, and thus prevent abscission of fruit and leaf. It can induce formation of adventitious root, and accelerate rooting of cuttings. At low concentration it can promote plant growth, and at high concentration it can promote synthesis of endogenous ethylene£¬and therefore help ripening. It can also improve plants' resistance to drought, cold, water logging and salt.

Application :

NAA is a broad spectrum plant growth regulator. To promote fruit set for tomato, dip the flowers with 50ppm solution at full bloom stage. To promote fruit set and seedless fruit for watermelon, dip the flowers or spray to the flowers with 20-30ppm solution at bloom stage. To prevent abscission of bloom and fruit for pepper, spray to whole-plant in 20ppm during bloom stage. To accelerate bloom for pipeapple after nutritive growth, add 30ml of 15-20ppm solution to the core. To prevent abscission of cotton boll and increase yield, spray during bloom stage in 10-20ppm for 3 times, at the interval of 10-15 days. To thin bloom and fruit for apple, spray in 10-20ppm during bloom stage. To prevent abscission of fruit before harvest, spray in 20ppm 2-3 weeks before harvest. To induce adventitious root for mulberry, tea, tung, lemon, thuja, metasequoia, sweet potato etc, soak the bottom of cuttings in 10-200ppm for 12-24hr. To promote germination and seedling growth for wheat and rice, soak in 20ppm for 12hr, and in 100ppm for 2hr, respectively. For ripening of lemon, spray in 0.1% to the lemon tree crown. For ripening of beans, spray in 100PPM.

Caution:

1. It can promote rooting of cuttings, but may also inhibit growth of upper stems or branches, so it had better be used in combination with other rooting agent.

2. Dosage may vary based on the time or the plant to be treated. When it is applied as spray to leaves, please refer to the package insert first.

3. When used to promote fruit set, apply it directly to the flower organ, or apply it to the whole-plant, frequently and in reduced quantity.
